Dear Clients: please note that based on the shelter in place order in Solano County, we have cancelled all in-person tax appointments. We are actively working to make arrangements to get your tax documents from you and get completed returns back to you. We still consider much of our business to be essential and understand that there may be some inconvenience involved in implementing these changes, but we are taking the safety of our clients, neighbors, employees, and community very seriously and want to do everything we can to minimize person to person contact at this time. We do not know how long this situation will last, so we are not rescheduling appointments for now. Please note that the filing and payment deadlines have been extended to July 15th, 2020 so we have plenty of time to make these alternate arrangements. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and as always, value your continued business.

As of now, despite the government shut down, the IRS has confirmed that the 2018 tax filing season will begin January 28, 2019. No extended filing deadline this year for most states; your returns will be due no later than April 15, 2019. There have been a lot of big changes to the tax code. Make sure you reach out to a professional if you have questions about your particular situation!
