Saving money tip of the day:

Dont eat out! Even in our current drive-through-only status, you are still spending more money to eat out than in. To boot, you're probably eating less healthy foods than you would if you cooked at home. For the same price of a double cheeseburger, large fries and drink at Whataburger, you can have steak and veggies at home!

Cooking can seem overwhelming, but now, more than ever, is a great time to get used to it. Start simple and move up. Learn how to perfectly season and cook an over easy egg. Then move on to marinating and pan searing a steak to a sizzling medium rare with a nice browned crust. Pick a recipe and do it how ever many times it takes to perfect it. Watch some cooking shows! "Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Mastering the Elements of Good Cooking", for example, is a great show to learn the key elements of good cooking.

Experiment. Have fun. Include the family and learn together.
