Let’s keep this in mind while the year is still fresh.
The truth is that the quality of your life, how you feel about yourself and how you see yourself comes down to your behaviour, your conduct and your ability to trust yourself and lead yourself.
These essential (non-negotiable) life skills are the very skills missing in today’s world. It’s a major reason why people are suffering more and more to handle their lives and see themselves in a good light. It’s the root cause of much of the pain, depression and anxiety millions of people are dealing with on a personal level.
At Before5am behaviour, personal conduct, self leadership and developing good human values and standards comes first. It comes before money, it comes before your career, it comes before life progress and ambition or material success. Because, if we don’t instil these hard constructs into a person’s life - they will suffer and in many cases never find their feet or be the upstanding member of society they were born to be.
In 2026, I want you to take on the personal responsibility of leading yourself, holding yourself to a higher set of standards and making your personal conduct and how you choose to behave your single most important priority.
Self trust, self respect and self leadership are the traits and hard skills that you have to build by yourself and for yourself. They are the backbone of your character and I would go as far as saying - they are the determining factors when it comes to your quality of life, the outcomes you will have in your life and how you see yourself as a person.
Do not neglect your own development and do not continue to negotiate with the very thing that will help you to become a stellar, upright and solid person - who can lead and be of tremendous value and service to yourself and others.
Sit down and start asking yourself the tough questions, take a good hard look at yourself and start holding yourself to some basic standards across the board. Making some personal adjustments now will help you to build your life on a more realistic and solid foundation in 2026.
Do the work that only you can do for yourself.
