Lifecare Affordability Plan

Lifecare Affordability Plan The Lifecare Affordability Plan® is a healthcare-driven financial planning process for older adults.

For more than two decades, SEIA has provided holistic wealth management services to clients in the Washington, DC metro area. As part of this engagement, we have worked with families facing the declining health of their loved ones to help them navigate the complexities of healthcare support and housing and understand their financial options. In 2018, seeing the need to bring this solution to a lar

ger audience, SEIA introduced the Lifecare Affordability Plan®, a flat-rate financial service that includes:

• Coordination with healthcare services. We work directly with healthcare providers to fully understand each patient’s care plan and potential clinical paths.
• Comprehensive financial review: We review all available income, assets, government benefits, liabilities, and ongoing costs to get a full picture of your financial situation.
• Family education: We engage with family members and advocates early in the planning process to make sure that the support team is informed and educated.
• Care-plan driven financial planning. The LCAP™ is an easy-to-understand action plan that helps you pay for the best possible care at a sustainable level. Each LCAP is developed for your family's unique circumstances. Your LCAP provides you with clear guidance on alternative courses of action and budgets. Your LCAP is designed to maximize care options while minimizing the financial impact on your family's security and quality of life.
• Step-by-step guidance. Our long history working with clients in crisis provides us with the long-term perspective needed to direct families to the suitable paths to take to achieve desired outcomes.
• Option to create investment portfolios. We can design customized investment portfolios that help preserve assets and generate liquidity while managing risk.
