We're proud of our team member Shelby, Treasurer of TXCPA East Texas, for speaking with students in the Kilgore College Upward Bound program this week about careers in accounting and the path to becoming a CPA.

Please help us welcome Rose Rook to the firm!

Rose is a student at Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She plans to continue her education through the Professional Program in Accounting (PPA) at Texas A&M, where she will earn her Master of Science in Accounting with a focus in taxation.
Her areas of practice during her internship will include audits of financial statements for not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. At Texas A&M, Rose is actively involved in her church and multiple student organizations. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, participating in sports, and spending time with friends and family. Originally from Tyler, Rose values the opportunity to serve the community she calls home.

We were so happy to welcome the Lindale High School Accounting I class to our office for a field trip and give them a look at a day in the life at an accounting firm!

We truly value our partnership with Lindale High School and love opportunities like this to connect with future professionals. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
