Did you know there is a tax CREDIT available up to $1,000 for contributing to a retirement account? This applies to single taxpayers with income under $38,000 or $76,000 if you are married.

My favorite strategy is to make a ROTH IRA contribution and receive a tax credit. As you may know, a ROTH contribution is not tax deductible but it is available for the retirement savings contribution credit.

Of course there are rules and limitations as you will see in the link below.

Now is the time to start planning!

You have until April 15, 2025 to make an IRA contribution for 2024.

The Saver's Credit is a tax credit for eligible contributions to your IRA, employer-sponsored retirement plan or Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) account.
