Good day all. We are snail mailing or emailing estimated tax vouchers/reminders today. Fourth quarter estimated tax payments would normally be due by January 15, 2025. However, if you are in Georgia, you are in a federally declared disaster area due to Hurricane Helene. As such, your fourth quarter estimated payment is technically not due until May 1, 2025.

The May 1, 2025, deadline also applies to any payment normally due during this period, including the quarterly estimated tax payments due on Sept. 16, 2024, and Jan. 15, and April 15, 2025. The May 1, 2025, deadline also applies to the quarterly payroll and excise tax returns normally due on Oct. 31, 2024, and Jan. 31, 2025, and April 30, 2025.

Rea CPA is participating in the 11th Annual Georgia Accounting Food Fight from August 5 – 16.

IT’S SHOCKING: Georgia’s food banks have been responding to a stubbornly high average 25% increase in the need for food assistance above pre-pandemic levels. Some food banks’ increase is much higher.

Last year, food insecurity in children increased significantly, with1 in 5 Georgia children at risk for hunger. Every dollar we raise will stay local and benefit Atlanta Community Food Bank, the food bank that serves our community!

This is an excellent investment – with every $1 donated to the food bank, they can distribute 3 to 4 meals worth of food to kids, seniors, and families. Let's rise to the challenge and do our part to reduce hunger in Georgia! Share our team’s fundraising page with everyone - friends, family, clients, etc.
