We are seeking an experienced seasonal tax preparer!!!

We are looing to add someone to our team this tax season with previous income tax preparation experience. We are seeking someone who can work independently. You must have a firm understanding of personal income tax laws and concepts, including rental properties, investments, itemized deductions, and sole proprietorships. Our preparers must be able to assess what additional questions and issues need to be addressed and whether information provided by clients is complete.

We are looking for seasonal tax work: 40-50 hours per week February to April 15th, plus paid training in January. We are family-friendly and offer flexible hours. Competitive wages paid based on experience.

From the Ohio department of taxation: Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19, all Ohio individual and school district income tax returns (IT1040, SD100), payments with returns, and estimated payments with due dates from April 15, 2020 through June 15, 2020 are extended without interest or penalty to July 15, 2020.

MOST (but maybe not all) Ohio villages, cities or municipalities with income tax have issued this for 2020:

Individual taxpayers will have until 7/15/20 to file and pay their 2019 municipal income tax return.

Net profit taxpayers (calendar year) who have opted to file with the State Tax Commissioner will have until 7/15/20 to file and pay their 2019 municipal income tax return with the State.

Net profit taxpayers (calendar year) who file directly with the tax administrator of the municipal corporation will have until 7/15/20 to file and pay their 2019 municipal income tax return.

First and second quarter estimated tax payments (individuals and calendar year net profit tax filers) will both be due by 7/15/20.
