Here are a few ideas to get you started! A keychain with the kids' thumbprints pressed together in a heart is a quick and easy idea for the littlest ones. With just a mug (an easy thrift store find!) and ceramic paint pens, you can make a coffee cup he will undoubtedly reach for every morning. Finally, if you're ready to take on a little building, a birdhouse is a great project to work on as a family. Countless plans and instructions can be found for free online! 🪺

For day 2 of our Father's Day gift ideas: his favorite meal, made with love by the his favorite people. 🍽

You don't have to spend a fortune with a reservation for the family at a nice restaurant. Something homemade, exactly the way he likes it, will mean the world to him!

Pro tip: he'll probably love the excuse to kick back and let everyone else take over the kitchen, but he'd rather be the one holding the tongs, hand them over! Step in as his sous chef(s) and enjoy a delicious celebration you all had a hand in creating.

Father's Day is coming up, and just like Mother's Day, we've got you covered with thoughtful ways to celebrate dad this year!

First up: joining him in something he loves. ⚾️🎣🎲 Pick up something small tied to his favorite hobby and actually do it with him. This may look different for every dad, but think of things along the lines of planning a day of fishing or hiking, shooting some hoops, or finally letting him teach you his favorite card game.

“Summer Trip” can mean a lot of things, from flying somewhere new, to renting a cabin, or tossing your camping gear in the car and spending a weekend in nature. ⛺️ It can take a lot to budget for these trips, both time and money, but one of the best decision making tools is to sit down and talk through the options as a family!

One conversation we recommend having: Would it mean more to everyone to take a larger trip or a few smaller weekend getaways? This is also a great learning opportunity for the kids as they have an active role in considering what adventures the summer has in store ☀️

Today is 529 day! Did you know money in a 529 account can be used for more than just a college education?

These funds can be used towards a vocational/trade school, student loan payments, and even for tuition expenses for K-12. If you no longer need the funds (you received scholarships, didn’t go to college, etc), it could be eligible to transfer into a Roth IRA! Give us a call if we can help you!
