2023 business mileage rate as of
January 1, 2023 will be 65.5 cents per mile according to the IRS.

IR-2022-234, December 29, 2022 — The Internal Revenue Service today issued the 2023 optional standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving purposes.

Those that have employees or are an employee at minimum wage. Please take a moment to read about the changes in minimum wage as of January 1, 2023.

On January 1, 2023, Michigan's minimum wage rate will increase from $9.87 to $10.10 per hour, with tipped employee hourly rate increasing to $3.84, as set by Michigan's Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act of 2018 establishing the annual schedule of increases.

The IRS has increased the standard mileage rate starting July 1, 2022. When compiling your 2022 tax information please remember to split your mileage Jan- Jun 30th @ 58.5 and July 1st - Dec 31 @ 62.5. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us.
