Michigan-based employers, the Michigan Earned Sick Time Act is something to familiarize yourselves with as it will have major tax and budgetary consequences.

The Michigan Earned Sick Time Act goes into effect February 21, 2025. It requires businesses to provide paid sick leave to all employees, and applies to even part-time and seasonal employees.

Are you a business owner? You're going to want to watch this to stay up to date!

The Corporate Transparency Act mandates that certain information about the owners of a business be provided to the Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN.)

This anti-money laundering law targets small businesses with less than 20 employees and less than $5 million in annual revenue.
