The filing season for tax year 2020 is getting more complex with the passage of the American Rescue Plan. Included in the Bill, besides another round of $1,400 stimulus checks, is a provision making the first $10,200 of unemployment income as exempt and a provision which allows those who were over paid the healthcare marketplace subsidy the ability to not pay back any overpayment. At J Dulzo Tax & Accounting, we are keeping up on these ever increasing congressional changes and we are here to help!
