There is no code inspections for tile work. Seek installers with 3rd party accreditation. Certified Tile Installer form the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation CTEF. Seek certified 5-Star Tile Contractors from the National Tile Contractors Association NTCA.

Tile Improver $15per hour on payroll.
Must have achieved results as Tile Helper. Refer to Tile Helper for more about that.

Principally job is to be helpful to Tile Setters. Second job is to take charge of Tile Helper. Show him or her the ropes as you help Tile Setter.

Tile Improvers are good at moving stuff and have own set of simple tile hand tools.
In addition to these Helper Requirements, Tile Improvers are learning 3 key tasks which are super helpful to Tile Setters. You get paid to learn. So, Be teachable.

1. Mixing Mortar.
2. Grouting completed tile work.
3. Making tile cuts on various tools; slide cutter, side grinder, and wet saw.
Help is available to aquire tools.

Reliable transport required.

Payday is on next Friday for work performed this week Monday thru Sunday.
No loans or advances. Dont ask.

Overtime over 40 hours.

Travel work 90 min travel is out of town.
We work within 6 hours of Toledo.
Hotel and meal per diem on travel work.

Up or out. Learn or Leave.
Successful Tile Improvers progress towards Tile Setter Apprentice and higher pay.
