I am currently looking to add a few more clients. My philosophy is you cannot run a profitable business without tracking your finances. I worked 5 years in public accounting and during that time, I worked on numerous small business owner’s books to adjust them for tax preparedness readiness. I believe that it is my job that when you drop off your tax papers and backup to your CPA, then your CPA will actually spend their time to making sure that you are getting the best tax advice and making the minimal adjustments in accordance with any new tax codes. Hello. My name is Meg Bradley and I am the owner of Times a Ticking Bookkeeping. My philosophy is you cannot run a profitable business without tracking your finances. I worked 5 years in public accounting and during that time, I worked on numerous small business owner’s books to adjust them for tax preparedness readiness. However, there were many times a client would drop off their backup from their accounting software and it would take me hours to adjust their books to make sure that all of their expenses were being recorded properly, their fixed assets were tracked correctly, and their equity rolled accurately from year to year. Once completed, I was finally able to look at the tax side of the return, such as gain/losses from sales, and depreciation. I believe that it is my job that when you drop off your tax papers and backup to your CPA, then your CPA will actually spend their time to making sure that you are getting the best tax advice and making the minimal adjustments in accordance with any new tax codes.
