rvice and experience. As a financial advisor, Andy provides financial planning and implementation of financial plans. He is a registered representative and Investment Advisor Representative of USA Financial Securities. Andy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and previously practiced in public accounting for 12 ½ years. His previous association with a public accounting firm and tax knowledge will allow him to consider tax efficient alternatives. Recognizing that economic forecasters may not always be accurate, Andy helps his clients understand possible future economic conditions and the potential effect on their financial plans. In addition, the impact that taxes have on financial plans is always considered and analyzed. While many investors will state that they have an investment strategy in place, an important question that follows is, “Do you have a tax strategy in place?”
Andy works very closely with clients to fully understand their many challenges, goals and dreams. His clients can have confidence in knowing that Andy stays informed regarding important financial planning and industry developments through his involvement with various financial industry organizations. He has also taught financial continuing education courses at area colleges and high schools. He is the host of a weekly local radio show, Your Financial Hour, heard on 105.7 FM, The Fan. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Andy also actively participates in several non-profit organizations, in activities at his children's school, and as a coach of local youth sports. He is currently Commissioner of Reisterstown Baseball and the middle school baseball coach at Park School. Additionally, Andy is involved and a coach in USA Hockey. Andy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Towson University with a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in Accounting and Finance. He then went on to obtain his Masters of Science in Finance (MSF) from Loyola College. He has completed the Harvard Institute training program at Harvard University, an in-depth program of portfolio theory. Andy and his wife, Debbi, have fun raising and staying active with their three children.
