Richard works alongside Keoni Hudson‑Rasmussen, a key leader in the practice, and assistant Calen Kolb as part of a multi‑generation advisory team focused on continuity, collaboration, and exceptional client service. Together, the team provides disciplined planning, investment oversight, and ongoing support so clients can spend less time worrying about finances and more time living their lives.

“Most clients don’t want to go into the weeds when it comes to investments,” Richard says. “They want to know someone who cares and is highly competent is handling that for them.” By leveraging the extensive resources of Raymond James, Richard and Keoni are continually looking for ways to add value—whether through tax efficiency, diversification, or navigating volatile markets. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in 1992 and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in 2011. He grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and now lives in Redmond, Oregon with his wife, Sonia. He spent 10 years in the Navy and Navy Reserves and maintains a strong commitment to giving back to the community. Richard has served as a board member of the Beaverton Education Foundation and volunteers with organizations including DECA and Oregon Special Olympics. Outside of the office, Richard is a cattle rancher who enjoys traveling, golf, pickleball, and competitive shooting sports.
