My family has always believed in the American Dream - the entrepreneurial spirit that drives America...the ability to be what you want to be. My grandfather, Jack Bailey, served his country faithfully in the Army and his brothers did the same in various branches of the Military, Navy, and Air Force. When he got home, however, he worked various jobs until finally realizing the dream of owning his o
wn business. This business would become known as Bailey's TV Center and served the Tifton, Fitzgerald, Douglas, and Waycross areas for many years. My family worked together to build the TV stores into very successful businesses and became known for their outstanding customer service. As their grandson, many people that I have met around the community remember the TV stores fondly, whether they purchased a TV or a VCR or one of the many products offered, and reminisce about how well my family took care of them and made them feel like family. After the TV stores closed, my grandmother, Roberta Bailey, got into the tax business and eventually started her own tax business - the very same business that has served Tifton for 21 years now. My grandmother is retired now, but she has handed the reins of the business over to me, Jared Thompson, and my business partner, Payne Pitts, and we hope to continue that same professionalism and customer service that our clients, new and old, have come to know and love.
