Not So Fast!

Reasons not to rush to your tax preparer before January 29:

1) If prepared before that date your file may be grouped with many other files and released at one time - recalling that several taxpayers years ago had delays from a bad file transmission.

2) If you get an Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit your refunds will be delayed until the end of February due to the PATH Act.

3) Childcare and Child Tax Credits is expected to be enhanced any day now - stay tuned. 🧐
