You don't need more hours in your books. You need 15 focused minutes. ⏱️

"Showing up" for your finances sounds like a big lift. It isn't. It's one small, repeatable habit.

Here's the 15-minute weekly money check-in I love for busy owners:
Minutes 1–5: Look at what came in and what went out this week.
Minutes 6–10: Flag anything that looks off — a charge you don't recognize, an invoice that hasn't been paid.
Minutes 11–15: Ask one question — "What does this tell me about next week?"

That's it. Done consistently, those 15 minutes turn your numbers from a mystery you avoid into a story you understand.

Progress isn't about doing it perfectly. It's about showing up. 🧘‍♀️

This past month I started going to yoga, and it's been one of the best things I've done for my mental health — better focus, less stress, more energy.

Here's what it keeps teaching me: growth doesn't come from doing something perfectly. It comes from consistently showing up for yourself.

The same is true in business. When you regularly check in on your numbers, the payoff stacks up the same way — cleaner records, better insights, and the confidence to make clear decisions. Small actions, consistent results.

Well, a few days ago, I realized I hadn't posted consistently since September. Is it just me, or has the time moved at double speed?

While I’ve been busy helping my accounting clients navigate their year-end goals, I’ve also been in the thick of a different kind of 'long-term planning': college applications and sports seasons. Whether it’s balancing a budget or balancing a travel ball schedule, I’ve realized that growth—both in business and in family life—requires the same thing: a solid plan and a lot of heart. (...AND coffee 🥰)

I’ve learned so much about navigating these big life transitions lately, and I’m excited to bring that energy back to my work here. I’m officially back in the feed and ready to catch up with all of you!
