Tax evasion is a crime, no matter who you are. How this individual got away with it for so long, with the visibility of his position, boggles the mind.

An act like this shakes the public trust in elected officials. Time for term limits across the board.

As detestable my home state's tax collection system is, they do have one thing right: 2D Barcoding on all submitted returns. Returns are processed in a matter of WEEKS not months, unlike the Federal government.
