👋 Meet the Team: Kelly Morgan
Kelly is a Tax Manager at RGCO who brings a supportive presence and a strong work ethic to everything she takes on.
📊 Why accounting: Kelly changed careers in 2019. Before switching to accounting, she was pursuing her PhD in history and had spent several years working in the museum field. After moving to Florida for family and working a tax season as a tax admin, she went back to school in 2020, gaining experience along the way, and graduated from USF in 2022.
🌎 Where she would spend a year: Colorado or Ireland. Kelly is drawn to Colorado for the mountains, the seasons, and the outdoor activities, and to Ireland for the culture. She spent several years studying Irish history and attending conferences there, so living like a local for a year would be a full-circle experience.
🎹 A fun fact most people do not know: Kelly is classically trained in piano and has learning the violin on her list. She also spends her free time knitting, painting, and drawing.
📔 Her productivity go-to: Journaling. Kelly uses it to organize her daily, weekly, and monthly goals across both her personal and professional life. It keeps her on track and adds a bit of creativity to her routine, especially during the busier seasons.
🥾 Outside of work: Kelly and her family take an annual hiking or outdoor trip. Last year was the Olympic National Forest in Washington, and this year they are heading to Acadia National Park in Maine.
If you ask her coworkers, three words come up often: supportive, hardworking, and diligent.
