💡When launching your small business & ecommerce store, mitigate as many risks as possible to not impact your cash💡

Unfortunately, the risks get wider when we make any of the following mistakes as we learn the entrepreneurial game.
⚠️ Overestimating the size of the market and sales.
⚠️Underestimating the minimum viable product costs.
⚠️Being overconfident of the value of our network.
⚠️Lacking detailed knowledge of the industry.
⚠️Responding slowly to market changes or client requests.

To be successful with risk mitigation, I recommend following my rule of thumb:
📊Interview potential clients, vendors and competitors
📊Map out at least 10 of your competitors and do a SWOT analysis
📊List potential 30 to 50 clients
📊Assign value to each client
📊Detailed all costs to have the MVP
📊Are you breaking even? Answer the questions that I mentioned at the end of my video; then adjust and start again.

💡Ok, so once you identify the 1099 that you need to complete; apply the following tips to improve your process💡

📌Make sure all of your vendors fill a W9.
📌When you create the vendor in quickbooks/your system, check the proper boxes based on the W9
📌Run a payable ledger for the full year & sort it by accenting order by vendor to identify those vendors above $600. On a side note, make sure that those vendors that you pay through non-merchant solutions (example zelle) need to be recorded in your system since zelle doesn't send a 1099 for you
📌Remember that people can be vendors as well and receive a 1099. But my suggestion is check with someone that knows HR to make sure that you are properly classifying employees (it can be costly this mistake)
📌Filling electronically is recommended; but if you want it by paper, make sure that you order the oficial forms. If you have more than 250 vendors, then it must be electronic.
📌Last, make sure forms are sent to those states with state income tax. Check with a professional to make sure.
