PPP & EIDL borrowers, pay attention.
A lot of people moved on and thought the pandemic loan talk was over. It’s not. The federal government is reportedly sending flagged PPP and EIDL loans to collections, totaling $22.2 billion.
That means some people could be dealing with:
👉 Treasury collections
👉 Wage garnishments
👉 Tax refund offsets
👉 Credit issues
👉 Legal action
Now hear me clearly, everybody who received funds was not trying to scam. Some businesses truly needed help. Some people were misinformed. Some let the wrong person handle their paperwork. And some people simply made bad choices.
Whatever category it falls under, now is the time to get serious.
✔️ Pull your loan records
✔️ Keep copies of everything submitted
✔️ Review your forgiveness status
✔️ Open every letter that comes
✔️ Don’t wait until it becomes a bigger problem
This is why I always say paperwork matters.
Some people thought it was free money, now they’re finding out it came with receipts. 👀
