Each spring break we go snow skiing. It’s our favorite thing to do. This year we didn’t have much snow, so we got to have fun in other ways! We love being out west, and we can’t wait to go back next year!

John Michael turns 10!

Writing this in hopes that one day, John Michael, you will read it. We recently celebrated your 10th birthday. And I’ve been thinking about you being the first born. As parents we are always trying to be perfect for you and you are also always trying to be perfect for us. But in reality perfection is an illusion. And if we were all perfect then we’d never be able to witness compassion or resilience. Life isn’t about avoiding all mistakes it’s about how you handle yourself when you make them. So my message to you is be kind to yourself. Give yourself grace. You’re right where you should be.

We’re so proud of you John Michael. You’re such a good friend, son and brother. We love seeing the sweet relationships you’ve created all on your own. You’re so much fun to be around, and you keep everyone smiling and laughing. We love you more than words can say!

When one door closes….

Our sweet Jack turned six in December! He is the most thoughtful and loving little guy there is. We are so proud of his kindness, and we enjoyed every bit of celebrating him! We love you more than words can say Jack! ❤️
