There are not a lot of people that do more for their community than Mike and Jane Ski, and this weekend, they hosted an open house for the rebranding of their salon, Hair Today, which celebrated 40 years in business. It was a great turnout for a great business and a great couple. Here's to 40 more years!!

I had the privilege of attending a Veteran's Coffee House meeting, where veterans gather monthly to chat, honor fallen veterans and enjoy coffee and donuts. The speaker was a Vietnam veteran that told stories of his time at war, and he presented a slideshow of his recent return trip to Vietnam. It was amazing to hear about his history and to see what the country looks like 60 years after he faced battle.

It was an honor to listen, learn, and be in a room filled with so many courageous men and women that so proudly served our country. They cannot be thanked enough.
