Gratitude and Inspiration for Women & Mothers

John Calvert, CFP®, CEPA®, CLU®, ChFC® and Amy Calvert recently hosted the 3rd annual Purses with a Purpose event, accompanied by Adam Gilmore and Emma Calvert, to honor deserving women in the Greater Los Angeles community.

Over brunch, guests came together to connect and fill donated purses with beauty items, essentials, and notes of encouragement. Thanks to the generosity of so many, 95 purses were delivered to the Good Shepherd Shelter for women recovering from domestic violence. These purses, gifted at Mother’s Day and birthday celebrations throughout the year, offer a reminder of the compassion and community that surround them on their journey of healing and empowerment.

We’re deeply touched by the overwhelming support and enthusiasm for Purses with a Purpose—and are already excited for year 4!
