Once again I am posting the information for TIGTA if you get that call from the supposed IRS saying they are going to arrest you. There were a bunch of arrests today. PLEASE call TIGTA or use the link below to report these scams. If you get the government grants call, report them. If you are a legal immigrant and you get a call from someone stating that you need to pay for some form that didn't get filed, call your immigration lawyer and the Dept of Immigration. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMS!!!

For those of you who have gotten an email or a phone call claiming to be from the IRS ...These are SCAMS. I have said it before and I will say it again, the IRS will not call you or email you. Now that said, if you get an email from these scammers, you can forward it to [email protected]. It will go to the right department. DO NOT go to any websites that they tell you to, do not click on anything, and do not reply to the email.
For the phone calls, if you have a phone number, please go to www.treasury.gov/tigta and find the instructions to report the phone number. If you do not have a phone number, just ignore it. They can't investigate it if they don't have a phone number. If, on the off chance, someone comes to your door, please know that they will not do this either. Call 911, slam door. Do not let them in the house. Period. Please, friends, family and neighbors, DO NOT respond to these people. Do not give them money. Do not go get an ITunes card and send it to them (This is one of the scams). Just report them. If you have gotten in trouble with this already, you can go to that website above and report them now.
