The IRS will begin accepting and processing 2021 tax returns starting Jan. 24.

It is almost that time. You should start preparing your mind to get all 2021 paperwork for filling in order and wait on that W-2 and 1099!!!

FYI: Parents you can claim your adult children up to age 24 as long as you provide 50% care for them.

Yes they can also file a single return on there income earned.

For most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.

To All my tax clients start checking your status Monday the IRS will start to update.

For all my Head of Household, EIC, and Child Tax Credit start checking your status after the 15th they will start processing.

Taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit may experience a refund hold. According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue these refunds before mid-February.
