For the smart people, business owners, smarty smart people who listen and understand the world and how to figure that out tax season is a bonus to them. Don't be a dummy. If you go to HR Block, Jackson Hewl yeah, Liberty Biberty Tax or any other of those chains you a fool. Don't participate in that literal stealing of your money next year. Be smart come see a real person who doesn't have to kick up to the corporate machine lots of your money for worse tax advice. Tax season for the smart people has just begun. For the dummies. They have paid way too much for nothing. Just my thoughts.

The INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE today, along with the Rhode Island Division of Taxation, have announced that taxpayers in Providence, Washington and Kent Counties in Rhode Island have been granted an automatic EXTENSION to file and/or pay your income taxes until July 15, 2024.

In addition, the Rhode Island Division of Taxation has granted that extension and time to pay to ALL Rhode Islanders. However, those taxpayers who do not live in either Providence, Washington or Kent County in Rhode Island still need to file and pay the Internal Revenue Service by April 15, 2024

There are 9 people in this world I will gladly do there taxes for free who come to me. My Mom, my brother, my niece, my nephew, Tyler and his girl cause he my Son by love, Tina and Paul cause they give me love and cookies, Crystal and John cause they family, I would also do Amanda and Paul but for some reason she think she better at taxes than me and stopped coming to me I don't know why, and Tuck my long time friend. Oh wait and I would do John Houston for free but nobody will let me do that and I wish they would (ahem Greg Brusseau). There are more but they don't come to me my sister's family as they go to their accountant who rocks. I know him personally from long ago and his firm is awesome.

Others who come to me, just ask me what I need please from you. I don't need a lot from you. I at least need to cover my costs. Eventually I have found that everyone I do taxes for becomes my friend or is my friend. But I also need to be able to cover costs and have some spending money besides. So be kind when you come to me and consider the kindness I am providing to you.

So you know, on average it costs me at least $35 in software costs alone every time I do a tax return. So you know my kindness. When I come visit you twice to pick up and drop off consider the time involved and the time involved in doing the return in the first place without messing up your return and gaining every last dollar for you.

Some might think I am a sucker and should charge people much more. I don't think that way. I charge according to what people can pay. Sometimes I should charge more to some but even then I don't feel it right to charge them a higher cost just because they make much more money. I charge according to the return and discount to people who don't really make what their return should cost them.

I don't know. Sometimes I wonder why my soft heart is in business. I know why. But sometimes I still wonder. Just saying. Love you all.

Oh, and I don't do taxes for people who will vote for Criminal Donald Trump. So if you support a dictator wannabe Donald Trump. Well go find yourself another tax preparer. Someone who will claim you got a refund on your taxes, when actually you owed money. The fraudulent things that you believe in. Don't bother me. Go find some idiot to do your taxes. I don't associate with people who believe in or commit fraud.

So I am still sick with a nasty cold that seems to have been making the rounds of Rhode Island. That being said.

TAX SEASON does NOT start yet! Do not contact me until February 1.

It is about all I can do right now to continue soldiering on finishing up payroll tax requirements, W-2's 1099's year end reporting quarter end reporting month end reporting that are all due by January 31.

Plus you can't be filed until the 29th of January anyways. So mellow out and kick on back and you will be attended to soon enough.
