UPDATE as of 12/27/24: The BOIR is NOT required to be filed by businesses pending the appeals court decision.

ORIGINAL POST WHICH CAN NOW BE DISREGARDED: In case you haven't heard, the Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) is back to being mandatory for all LLCs and corporations. The original due date was 12/31/24, but a couple weeks ago, there was a nationwide injunction on enforcement of it so people were advised they no longer had to complete the reporting while the decision was being appealed. Yesterday on 12/23/24, that was reversed but a new extended due date exists. **YOU NOW HAVE UNTIL JANUARY 13, 2025, to get this report completed for all more-than-25% owners.**
