Happy Monday!

We officially made it through tax season last week 🙌🏼

I took most of the weekend to enjoy my birthday with my kids and family, and it was much needed 💛

This week I have a few meetings scheduled, but between this week and next, I’ll begin working through all extensions that were filed.

Let’s not wait until October to get these done — the sooner, the better so we can stay ahead of everything. That said, just a reminder that extensions give us until October to file your final return.

If you still need to send documents or have questions, now is a great time to reach out!

Happy Tax Day! 🎉

I have just two more returns to finalize, and then I’ll be taking a few days to let my brain refresh and recuperate after a busy season. Starting next week, I’ll begin working on extension clients.

If you have a balance due, don’t forget to make your payment today or set up a payment plan with the Internal Revenue Service.

Also, a friendly reminder — estimated tax payments are just as important, especially if you’re self-employed.

Happy Saturday!

As we head into the final stretch before the tax deadline, I just wanted to share a quick update. This is one of the busiest times of the year, and while I’m working extended hours (including weekends), I’m also balancing time with my family as best as I can.

I’m working through returns as efficiently and accurately as possible, and I truly appreciate your patience during this time. Quality and accuracy will always come first.

As soon as your return is finalized and accepted, I will send you a copy via email, hard copy is an additional cost.

Thank you all for your understanding and support—it truly means a lot during this busy season.

Tax deadline is just a few days away ⏳

I took today to rest, recharge, and spend time with my kids so I can head into these final days focused and ready to finish strong for all of you 🤍

I’ll be working extended hours this weekend (including Saturday and Sunday) to get remaining returns completed. My goal is to have everything wrapped up by April 14th.

With that being said, please make sure you are:
• Ready for me to submit your return
• Prepared to pay your invoice
• Prepared to pay your tax balance OR set up a payment plan with the IRS

I will not be working up until midnight on April 15th waiting on final approvals, payments, or decisions. My priority is submitting accurate returns in a timely and stress-free way for everyone.

Also, a quick reminder — if you are self-employed and showing a net profit, owing taxes is normal. That means your business made money.

Nothing was done incorrectly — this is simply how the numbers work when income increases and taxes were not prepaid. When you have a W-2 job, taxes are taken out of each paycheck throughout the year. When you are self-employed, those taxes are not automatically taken out, so they are due when you file.

This is why making estimated quarterly tax payments is so important — it helps avoid large balances at the end of the year.

I truly appreciate all of my clients who have been responsive, prepared, and understanding during this busy season 🤍

Tax deadline is one week away as of tomorrow.

If I currently have your tax return in progress and we’re on hold for any reason, please reach out and let me know your plan before the last minute.

I still have about 10 returns to complete before the 15th, and I want to make sure everyone is taken care of appropriately.

If I don’t hear from you, I will move forward with extensions as needed. I won’t be able to continuously follow up as we get closer to the deadline.

Thank you for your understanding!

Happy last day of March — I can’t believe how fast this month flew by.

I want to send a quick update as we head into the final stretch of tax season.

If I did not receive your tax documents by March 20, your return will be placed on an automatic extension. At this point, I am working through 25+ returns that were submitted on time, and I have to prioritize those to ensure accuracy and completion before the deadline.

I know extensions aren’t ideal, but this deadline is something I implemented this year and will continue going forward. It allows me to focus on each return properly without rushing, so everything is done right.

Also, during this time, I am not able to schedule meetings. My full focus is on completing returns before April 15. I understand this can be frustrating, but I appreciate your understanding while I navigate this busy season as a one-woman business.

If you would still like to proceed with filing an extension, I will be sending invoices out shortly. Payment is required prior to filing.

Thank you again for your patience and continued support — it truly means a lot.
