📢Tax Deadline Update
The IRS has given an extension to Arkansas for federal tax filings! Your new deadline is Nov. 3, 2025

Currently, the State of AR has provided an extended deadline of July 31, 2025 (to select counties).

FAQs:
1️⃣What if I’ve already filed but needed to send in a payment today? You dont have to send that in until Nov 3 for federal tax owed and July 31 for state tax(if you’re in a listed county)
2️⃣If I haven’t filed, do I need to file and extension today? No, you’re good to go through the above dates.
3️⃣Can I contribute to my IRA through the new deadline? Yes!

IR-2025-08, Jan. 10, 2025 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced that the nation’s 2025 tax season will start on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, and will feature expanded and enhanced tools to help taxpayers as a result of the agency’s historic modernization efforts.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
A federal district court issued an order on 12/3/2024 prohibiting the enforcement of BOI reporting. Under this injunction, FinCEN is barred from enforcing the filing requirements while the case is pending.
FinCEN has updated their website with the notice below.

At this time, the DOJ has filed a notice of appeal with the Fifth Circuit court. Their decision may be announced before the January 1 deadline - however, litigation may continue through the court system.

We are diligently following the case and will pass along updates as decisions are made. For now, there are no penalties for not filing and you're not required to do anything in regards to BOI.
