Beirne Wealth Consulting (“BWC”) is a SEC registered investment advisory firm based in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The company is privately-owned and the partners have been providing investment advice to institutional and individual clients for over 50 years. At BWC we seek to help our individual clients recognize their true desires and motivations in terms of lifestyle, retirement and legacy. O

ur institutional clients have benefited from our philosophy and disciplined investment process, which has helped fulfill the needs of public and private pension plans, endowments and foundations over the past 4 decades. Bringing clarity to the consulting process by being a “fiduciary” in our space is what our clients expect us to do as we consistently “think differently” at BWC to navigate the financial markets of today in order to achieve the desired outcomes that matter to our clients.

Financial wellness is more than budgeting and saving. It’s about creating stability, confidence, and opportunity for the people who matter most.

For families, financial wellness means building a foundation where children can thrive, goals feel achievable, and unexpected moments are met with preparedness instead of fear.

For women, it’s also about empowerment; Having the knowledge, resources, and confidence to make informed financial decisions, grow wealth, and create lasting generational impact.

When investing in financial education and healthy financial habits, we believe it strengthens not only individual households, but entire communities.

Financial wellness is not a destination. It’s a lifelong journey toward security, freedom, and peace of mind.

Last week, we talked about 529 plans and the importance of planning ahead for education expenses.

Family financial planning goes far beyond college savings. Protecting your income, preparing for retirement, building emergency savings, and creating long-term stability are all part of the bigger picture.

The goal isn’t just having a financial plan. It’s about creating peace of mind for your family and confidence in your future.

No matter where you are financially, small steps today can make a major difference down the road. If you’d like to talk through your goals or current plan, we’re always happy to connect.

529 plans are a simple, tax-advantaged way to save for education.

Your money grows tax-free and can be used for more than just college; Think trade schools, certifications, and even some K–12 expenses.

They’re flexible, but still come with rules to understand.

Not a perfect fit for everyone; But if you’re curious how it could fit into your plan, we always welcome the conversation.

[North Haven, CT] — April 29, 2026 — Lindsey Allard, a leading voice from Beirne’s Women on Wealth, spoke at a recent engagement hosted by the Working Women's Network at Yale (WWN), an organization dedicated to fostering connection, growth, and well-being among women at Yale University.
The event brought together a vibrant community of women committed to personal and professional development. During the session, Allard presented on financial empowerment, sharing strategic insights into building confidence with money, creating sustainable wealth, and approaching financial decision-making with clarity and purpose.
“Financial empowerment is foundational to overall well-being,” said Allard. “It was an honor to collaborate with the Working Women's Network at Yale, an organization that is deeply aligned with the mission of supporting women in every dimension of their lives—personally, professionally, and financially.”
Attendees received actionable strategies, thoughtful perspective, and a framework for integrating financial literacy into a broader vision of leadership and life design.
The Women on Wealth platform continues to serve as a powerful platform for women to engage in meaningful dialogue, access resources, and build a strong, supportive community.

Financial Literacy Month may be coming to an end, but the conversation shouldn’t. Some of the most important money lessons don’t happen in a classroom, they happen at home. Teaching kids how to save, spend, and think about money early can have a lasting impact.

It doesn’t have to be complicated. Small, consistent conversations can build confidence and lifelong habits.

April is a reminder, but financial education is a year-round investment.

If you’re thinking about ways to start these conversations with your family, we’re always here to help.
