We are a full service public accounting firm located in Shelton, Connecticut. We provide comprehensive accounting, tax and advisory services to our clients. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated accountant with 2-3 years of recent public accounting experience.

Ideal candidates would demonstrate:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented
• Experience in tax preparation (Individual, Partnership and Corporate returns)
• Experience in GAAP accounting
• Proficiency in accounting related software with preference to ProSystems, Engagement, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Positive work ethic and a drive to participate as a member of a team
Duties of the position will include:
• Preparation of entity and individual income tax returns
• Performing audit or review procedures as assigned by supervisors
• Preparation of trial balances and financial statements
• Performing other accounting, audit and tax duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel
• Interaction and consultation with clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required
• CPA or working towards CPA preferred
