As the parent of four kids that play travel sports, I find these stats fascinating. This is for the NHL where a much higher percentage of players in the league were born in the first few months of the year. Why? Because in theory at a young age those older kids are bigger and more mature and therefore make the best travel teams, get the best coaching and training, and are less likely to think they aren't good enough and give up the sport. It makes me wonder whether similar stats would exist when looking at other sports and even the executive ranks at corporations.

We have been telling our clients throughout 2025 that, at some point, a China trade announcement would be made and the market would have an incredible day. Not the kind of day you want to miss.
