Pies by Barbara A pie-making and instructional business, featuring homemade pies sold to the public and classes that teach people how to make pie. Barbara made pies for St.

Clouds restaurant in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle for years, and she now sells directly to the public. She also teaches people how to make pie in her Easy As Pie classes. These classes are 3 hours long and include all the secrets to making a fabulous piecrust and a delectable filling. The classes are hands-on, and each person leaves with his/her own pie!

Thanksgiving is to professional pie makers what April 15th is to accountants. It’s been very intense in my kitchen the last few days! The last pies were picked up this morning and I’m still looking forward to making a pumpkin pie for our celebration tomorrow. I hope you will have some fun making your own or eating one that someone lovingly prepared for you!
