My daughter gave me a surprise! I opened the envelope and inside the note said "you are signed up to a 5k!"... (Okay I maybe did a five k about ten years ago I thought...) Now she's sending me photos of the medal. Hmmmm... To be honest, I kind of like the medal!

It was a great day Sunday doing the 30-mile "bike the drive" downtown Chicago! Cloudy, no wind and 70° I couldn't have asked for anything better!! I raised money for veterans and a sheltered mothers group, and at the same time I got a little exercise!

THANK YOU to my Ameriprise team for volunteering, and helping me to put special kits together, to give to the homeless!!
