Excited to announce that our short documentary 'Cary Brothers: Songs in the Key of Film' premiers at the San Jose Int'l Short Film Festival next week! Huge thanks to Sargasso Media for capturing the celebration and, of course, to Bob Blumer for hosting. This film is made possible by Priest Ranch Wines – Napa Valley’s eclectic, epicurean estate. Filmed at the Hollywood Hills home of former Food Network Host and cookbook author Bob Blumer, 'Songs in the Key of Film' explores the power of music in film with Cary Brothers, one of the most licensed singer-songwriters in film and television. As they celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Grammy-winning soundtrack from Garden State, Brothers reveals insight into curating the music with filmmaker Zach Braff, and other memorable song placements from his career.

Along with helping Blumer prep the evening’s Surreal Menu, Brothers performs songs from Blumer’s rooftop with the iconic Hollywood sign as a backdrop. Hits include “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” (Smallville), “Ride” (Grey’s Anatomy), and “Blue Eyes” (Garden State).

We have a VIP event on Friday, Oct 25, 2024 Time: 5pm to 6:30pm with special guests Cary Brothers, Bob Blumer, and winemaker Cody Hurd. Yes, we''l be pouring Priest Ranch Wines.

On Saturday, Oct 26th, our big screen premier is a Cinemark CinéArts Santana Row at 7pm. Our film is in the 'Musically Inclined' film block.
