LATEST NEWS ON THE PATH SCT REFUNDS

Based on prior years' data, people with PATH ACT refunds typically see their tax refunds arrive in the first week of March.
For 2024, we expect that the earliest PATH Act tax refunds will arrive around February 19, but the bulk of earlier filers will see their refund the week of February 26 through

IRS HUB Testing Begins on 01/16/2024
Every year, transmitters engage in HUB Testing with the IRS in advance of the tax season. Our testing window will begin on January 16th, 2024. During HUB testing some returns will receive acknowledgments.

We have no input in which returns are selected to participate in HUB Testing.

It is important to understand the following about any return for which an acknowledgment is received before January 29, 2024:

--The IRS will not begin to process these returns until January 29, 2024.

--The clock for any refunds or ancillary services will not begin until January 29, 2024.

--During the Controlled Launch period (1/16 - 1/22) a taxpayer will not be able to see the status of their return on the IRS's Where's My Refund?

Remember the IRS message on refunds for the upcoming filing season will be taxpayers can expect their refund in less than 21 days unless their return requires additional review.
