It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Jim Dallas. Jim passed away yesterday, on January 3, 2023 after a battle with Mesothelioma. Many of you had not only a working relationship with Jim, but also friendships that he valued. For those who didn’t have a chance to work with Jim, he helped Troy get started in the industry and was a foundational piece in building the business we have today.
Jim enjoyed the relationships he made working in this industry, and with you. He was passionate about this business and enjoyed spending time researching and learning all he could about different investment options along with an expansive knowledge of Economics. Outside of work Jim enjoyed serving valiantly in his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and serving others. He enjoyed fishing and spent a lot of time in his retirement years golfing and trading securities in the market.
We would like to express our sympathies to Jim’s family including his wife Ruth; children Tyler, Amber, Scott, and Heather along with their spouses and Jim’s Grandchildren.
If any of you would like to pay your respects a viewing will be held on Friday January 6th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A secondary viewing will be held Saturday morning from 9:30 am to 10:45 am followed by the funeral starting at 11:00 am. This will be held in the chapel on 2400 Alta Canyon Drive, Sandy, UT 84093.
