SWIFT Password Requirement
Starting Friday, June 19, 2026, after 10:00 a.m. PST, the Franchise Tax Board will begin enforcing the 15‑character password requirement for all SWIFT accounts.
No action is required if your current SWIFT password is at least 15 characters long and less than 365 days old.
Action Required:
If your password is less than 15 characters or is more than 365 days old, you will need to reset your password after 10:00 a.m. PST on Friday, June 19, 2026.
How to Reset Your Password:
Visit https://swift.ftb.ca.gov/
Click “Forgot your password?”
Complete the Enroll step
After enrolling, you may Reset, Unlock, or Change your password
If you do not remember the answer to your questions, select “Forgot your password?” and complete the re-enrollment process.
