Last week, part of our team got to spend the evening at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire 4th Annual TopGolf Tournament, and it was a great time. 🏌⛳

We were there as a dinner and birdie sponsor, and it felt good to be part of an event that raised over $150,000 for mentorship programs in the Inland Empire.

Good cause, good people, and a fun night with the team. Hard to beat that.

Happy National Accounting Day!

Using a throwback from our 10-year celebration because it felt fitting for today.

This profession asks a lot from people over the years, and one of the things we’re most grateful for is the team behind it all. The people who continue to support each other, show up for clients, and somehow still find reasons to laugh together along the way.

Sometimes you do not realize how much you have grown until you look back at something that once felt intimidating and now just feels like part of the job.

A lot of careers are built that way. Little by little, one opportunity at a time.

This year’s theme was Confidence in Motion, centered around leadership, growth, and continuing to move forward with confidence in a changing profession.

Two energizing days filled with networking, amazing speakers, meaningful conversations, and the Women to Watch awards.

A great reminder of how valuable it is to support each other and keep learning from the people around us. 🧡

Coming off Mother’s Day weekend, it’s hard not to appreciate how many lessons from mothers and mother figures still show up in everyday life.

A lot of us learned patience, resilience, and how to keep going from the people who helped raise, support, and guide us over the years.

Those lessons stay with you long after childhood… and honestly, they translate pretty well into work too.

Not a bad mindset to carry into a Monday. 🫶

Supporting students, connecting with local organizations, and helping encourage the next generation coming into the profession matters to us.

A lot of people helped shape our paths along the way, and it’s important to us to do the same for those coming up next.

We spent last evening at CSUSB for the Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting Association Spring Banquet.

It was great connecting with accounting students and seeing the next generation coming into the profession.

We also enjoyed hearing from Nancy J. Corrigan with the California Board of Accountancy and Denise Froemming, President & CEO of CalCPA.

A wonderful night all around!
