Hello everyone! We are nearing the end of tax season but we unfortunately are losing a staff member and are looking for somebody to start immediately and be with us until May 17th. We wanted to let everybody know that we are still fully operational and here to help with all your tax needs! The tax filing deadline this year has been automatically extended to July 15th so there is still plenty of time. We will be out of the office from April 16th-May 11th and then we will be here Monday’s, Wednesdays and Friday’s from May 11th to July 15th. We have posted detailed stimulus information on our website and we will continue to update it with any new information as it comes out.

We do encourage you to drop off, mail, email, or fax your documents in to us for the safety of our staff and our clients.

We appreciate everyone’s continued business and hope that we all stay safe and healthy!

WARNING-Do not respond to any emails or calls from any entity claiming to get you a bigger or faster stimulus payment, this is a scam! The IRS will never email or call you-ever!

Ashworth Tax would
like to make you aware that there is a deadline on extensions for corporations, partnerships and trust tax returns on September 17, 2018.
If these are not filed by the September 17th deadline for 2017, then there are expensive penalties.
Penalties after the deadline start at $800 and there will be penalties for each day over the deadline.
Please call to make an appointment as soon as possible for these returns.
The deadline for extensions for your personal 2017 tax returns is October 15, 2018. Please file before this date to avoid more penalties. Penalties for personal returns aren’t as severe. Filing on time is a priority to save money and receiving letter from the IRS and State of Utah or other States.
Please get with us as soon as possible!

We are heading towards the finish line for the April 17th deadline! If you would like your taxes done before the deadline, give us a call as soon as you can!
If you would like an extension also give us a call. An extension for a personal return, is good until October 15, 2018. However, if you owe money, it is not an extension of time to pay the IRS or State. If you owe, it is due on April 17, 2018.
There will be interest charged, if you owe, after the April 17th deadline.

Also note: Extensions for Corporations, LLC’s, Trusts etc are due September 17, 2018. There are heavy penalties, if these returns are not filed on time.
