Self-employed or 1099 and thinking about buying a home?

This is a great financing option that Jen Pintos Guaranteed Rate Affinity NMLS 1596923 shared with me for 1099 borrowers. Qualified buyers may be able to purchase using just one year of 1099 income, with as little as 10% down for certain loan amounts.
If you're self-employed and thought getting a mortgage might be difficult because you don't have the traditional two years of income documentation, this may be an option worth exploring.
