Last night, a group of the Kuenzi & Company team got to attend the OSCPA Circle of Excellence event, and it was an evening worth celebrating! We loved having the opportunity to support and recognize the four newly licensed CPAs (we were just missing one). A huge congratulations to each of you on this incredible accomplishment. Your hard work and perseverance truly paid off.
We were also proud that KCO was able to give back by awarding a scholarship, continuing our commitment to supporting the next generation of accounting professionals.

⭐️Meet Ryan Kirkland!⭐️

Ryan first joined the KCO team in January 2024 as a tax season intern. After graduating from Corban University as Top Accounting Student in 2025, he now works for our firm full-time as a staff accountant. Ryan is actively working toward his CPA license.

Advice Ryan has for others thinking of starting down the CPA track, “Studying for the CPA exams requires consistency. Study every day and set goals for each exam. Make a study plan and schedule your exams in advance so you have a deadline to motivate you. Use the study materials to your advantage by using the practice problems and taking the practice exams. Repetition is everything, so using flash cards and practice problems help solidify the things you need to know. These are difficult exams, but if you come to the exam prepared, you can exceed even your own expectations!”

Ethan started his career at KCO in January 2024 as a tax season intern. Now a Corban University grad, and full-time staff accountant, Ethan is actively working toward his CPA license.

Ethan chose to pursue a career in accounting after hearing about the career opportunities from two of his brothers who are CPAs. “I saw it as a stable, respectable option that can have tons of growth if you put in the work”.
