Wacky Wednesday. Climbing on the mower with a beverage at 6:30 pm and mowing until it was too dark to see. Let’s hope I didn’t leave any skips. Turned out to be a beautiful night — and 1/2 the yard got trimmed!

and all the usual in between

We're seeing and hearing a lot of IRS notices .. weird things happening, payments not being applied - SSN's not matching -- I suspect most of it is due to the onset of electronic payments -- some of it MFJ taxpayers needing to have their own accounts .. the agency is a mess and struggling .. we're working thru notices ..

It's actually a good conference -- heavy on court cases-- some of them are well, weird -- weird but educational :)

R: Farm Tax Conference ( all day remote from WV)
F: Farm Tax Conference ( day two)

it's the week of CPE - continuing professional education -- 4 hours of ethics -- 16 hours of farm tax and related farm issues .. The CPA designation/license has CPE requirements -- the internet has opened up a variety of topics without the need for travel. This particular course has 2 excellent speakers with relevant topics -- I've been taking their annual gig for 5 (6?) years ..

Pix of the week: My favorite tractor just before it got traded in and hauled away -- learned a lot of life lessons driving 'er ... no a/c - but it had a cab and power steering! I think this was 1997 or 1998 -- vs. the fall of 2022 -- and dad in the renter's John Deere -- tracks, autosteer and a/c !

wacky wednesday !

so Ruby got an oil change yesterday and Arvin calls me and had the question of the decade -- "when was the last time you put wiper blades on the Mustang?" ... hmmmm never --- she still had the ORIGINAL wiper blades -- the 12 year old wiper blades --

so peeps it is the little things in life that make a difference
happy wednesday ...

Next up is a wash. 😜
