PSA - The IRS is now requiring you to receive your refunds via direct deposit unless you have very specific reasons not to. Before you file make sure you enter bank info to prevent delays in receiving your refund.

📢 **Business Tax Deadline Alert: March 16, 2026**

If you own an S-Corporation or Partnership, your 2025 business tax return is due tomorrow — March 16, 2026 (since the usual March 15 deadline falls on a Sunday this year).

✅ Not ready to file? File an extension.
An extension gives you until September 15, 2026 to file the return.

💡 Why extending can be important:
If your business plans to make profit-sharing or employer retirement contributions, extending the return can give you time to fund those contributions over the next several months while still allowing them to count toward your 2025 tax year (depending on the plan and filing status).

⚠️ Important: An extension gives you more time to file — not more time to pay. Any expected tax due should still be paid by the original deadline.

Most people review their Form W-4 and state withholding when first hired or at the beginning of the year… and then forget about it. 📅

But here’s the truth: Right after you file your tax return is one of the BEST times to adjust your withholding.

Why? Because your return just told you a story. 👇

• Owed a big balance? You may need to increase withholding.
• Got a huge refund? That’s your money sitting with the IRS interest-free - you may want to adjust and increase your take-home pay.
• Life changed (marriage, divorce, new baby, side income, home purchase)? Your W-4 should reflect that.

The Internal Revenue Service updated Form W-4 to better match actual tax situations, but it only works if you keep it current. The same goes for your state withholding form - especially if tax rates or your income changed.

Think of your tax return as a yearly check-in...and your W-4 as the steering wheel. 🚗
