I’m don’t know who needs to hear this but…..

It’s ok to not be ok!
It’s ok to be triggered.
It’s ok to relearn hard life lessons.
It’s ok to suffer from trauma that you thought you healed.
It’s ok to get lost in your journey and start back from square 1.
It’s ok to hurt
It’s ok to cry.
It’s ok to be petty.
It’s ok to not be the bigger person.
It’s ok to not like people.
It’s ok to not like yourself and how you’re showing up.
It’s ok to not know the answer.
It’s ok to doubt yourself and your life choices.
It’s ok to feel cold and numb.
It’s ok to set boundaries.
It’s ok to cut people off.
It’s ok to not like other people.
It’s ok for other people to not like you.
It’s ok to be seen.
It’s ok to be heard.

Posting this for myself as a reminder that life isn’t always rainbows and sunshine. It’s also 110 degree heat, hurricanes, earthquakes, wild fires and avalanches.

Sometimes you’re left with nothing but yourself to rely on. It’s scary, lonely and traumatic but as long as you keep showing up, you’ll eventually be ok again.

In the meantime, it’s ok to not be ok!

Aaaannnd the answer is……..

MYTH!

You pay taxes on your business Net Profit (Income - Expenses) regardless as to whether you have left it in the business account or disbursed it to your personal account.

I encourage my clients to open a second business “Tax Escrow” account and divert a percentage of their business revenue to that account.

This automatically sets aside money to cover your tax liability so that your not hit with a huge tax bill and stuck with no funds to pay it!

I started my small business with the goal of financial independence.

I was tired of living paycheck to paycheck and building someone else's dream.

In 2019, I started working as an independendent consultant for a single company and making double what I earned previously.

But, I didn't do any work around creating a positive relationship with money, a system to manage my money, or a money plan that actually moves me toward achieving my money goals.

And so I CONTINUED to live paycheck to paycheck and struggled just as much as when I made less.

The BIGGEST lesson I learned: A life of financial freedom is not built by simply making more of money!

Financial freedom is cultivated through having a positive relationship with money, charging what your worth, creating and implementing a money plan, and being intentional with your money moves.

Tired of exhausting cycle of living paycheck to paycheck and ready to do the inner work necessary to be financially free?

I invite you to book a FREE clarity call to discover what's holding you back from financial freedom and how you can overcome it. Click the link schedule your FREE consultation today.

Self-love isn’t all mani/pedi’s.

One of the biggest and hardest shifts I made around my relationship with money was actually paying attention to my money.

There was a huge gap between how I spent my money and the financial goals I wanted to achieve.

In truth I didn’t want to give up anything in my current life so I kept my head buried in the sand and never looked at my finances.

If I had money in my account I spent it without thought. I didn’t have a money plan and frankly the thought of scared me.

I was constantly STRESSED about money until I incorporated a weekly finance meeting into my routine in which I look at my numbers (both biz and personal), align them with my money plan and make intentional decisions based on the facts.

Knowing my numbers and intentionally following a money plan has greatly reduced my stress level around money! I‘Ve also started paying down my debt which is one of my biggest financial goals.

How’s that for self-level??!!

If your read to ditch the no money plan/high stress approach to your biz finances schedule a free consultation so we can get your finances in order.

On 9/23/22 the Founder and CEO of The Savvy Taxista was in a major car accident.

She sustained injuries that will require surgery, rest and time to heal. She has a broken left ankle and foot, and fractured upper & lower left pelvis. She will still be available but on a very limited basis for the near future.

As small business owners, we understand that No Work = No Money.
And sometimes circumstances beyond our control make us face this harsh reality.

She is so grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and prayers she has received from her community. It is a blessing is the current storm.

Many have reached out regarding ways to help and support her and her family in this difficult time.

A fundraiser on her behalf can be accessed here. Please keep the prayers coming, they are greatly appreciated!

Did you know that as a business owner you are required to make Estimated Tax Payments 4 times each year if your business is profitable?

The 3rd Estimated Tax Payment is due September 15th. If you will owe over $1,000 in taxes the IRS requires you to pay these payments timely to avoid underpayment penalties.

Now is the perfect time to get your bookkeeping up to date and speak with a tax professional to determine whether you need to make a payment.

Bonus!! You will have your bookkeeping caught up for 8 months of the year and avoid the annual scramble and stress trying to figure out 12 months of bookkeeping.

I'm currently taking on a limited number of new clients.

If you are interested in getting and keeping your bookkeeping and business finances on track, and planning to save money at tax time. I invite you to book a FREE Consultation with me to see how we can work together.

Understanding your business financials is the key to sustaining a healthy & thriving business.

Knowing what your business financials are telling you allows you to make key financial decisions like when to hire, when to add or sunset a product or service, what expenses to cut, and so much more!

But traditional bookkeepers, accountants and CPA's generally don't sit down and go through your financial statements to provide you with an explanation of what your numbers really mean.

I believe that the key to your financial success/freedom is financial literacy!

If you are ready to take control of your business finances and build your life of financial freedom, click the link to discover how we can work together to build your future! https://www.thesavvytaxista.com/workwithme
