Here's to a prosperous 2017! Some important dates for this tax season:

Filling begins on January 23rd.
If claiming the Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit, your refund will not be processed until February 15th at the earliest, and possibly as late as February 27th.
The deadline for filing this year is April 18th. Remember that this deadline only applies if you owe additional taxes. If you are due a refund you may file at any time (but why let the government keep your money??).

April 15th...do not forget to file an extension if you haven't done so already. And remember: an extension gives you more time to file, you still have to pay by today.
