If you haven’t already sent us your tax information, it’s crunch time baby! Tax Day this year is April 18, 2022. Just 12 days from now! You still have time to get in with us, but the clock is seriously ticking away, so please schedule ASAP if you want to come in to see us!

Alternatively, you may file an extension to file until October 15 ($50, which will be deducted from your tax preparation fee). Keep in mind that this extension is ONLY TIME to file, NOT time to PAY, and the IRS will assess interest on any balance due starting April 18, 2023! Call or schedule online!

Can you do it cheaper?? A question many ask during tax season. Think of the cost of tax preparation like 🤔… the Mona Lisa painting, you can get a simple color pencil drawing for a very low price. Sure, it may not be the best drawing you’ve ever seen, but for $20, you can’t complain.

Now, if you want to use a skillful artist-someone who primes the canvas, sets the mood with a tonal background color, chooses the appropriate brushes, creates an underpainting, adjusts colors appropriately, experiments with a medium and has a safe place to dry the canvas— you’ll have to pay more.

The same goes for tax advisors/planners and strategists. If you pay around $195, you’ll probably get an average tax preparer who may or may not help you get all the deductions you deserve. But for a little bit more, you can get a trustworthy tax advisor who cares about your situation, helps you understand tax changes, and ensures you get the maximum refund back this year and every year thereafter.

Now, I’m not calling myself an artist like da Vinci! But when it comes to taxes/tax planning and tax strategy… I’m your local “Tax da Vinci”!
